MY MITH

This is the myth I wrote which was part of the reading work we have been doing this week.

  1. Wonderfully written narrative Iyve! I really like how you have bought in all the environmental impacts of having no south wind! I am glad Tawhirimatea realised this and helped Papatuanuku and the animals to regain their balance! Ka Pai Iyve. 😎

  2. Awesome writing Iyve! I love the use of Gisborne as the setting for your myth. We certainly do get droughts here and people pray a lot for an easterly or southerly wind to come and bring the rain. Well done on using the Maori names! Some very descriptive writing which brings the story alive in my imaginations!
