The Museum

On the 11th of August our whole class went to the museum. When we started our day with the role and then we did our fitness wich is going to help us with our cross country. Anyway we all got there on a bus and when we got there we got to have some morning tea.
Then we got to go into the class room and sat down on the mat and listened to our teacher for the day and we got to call her Aunty. Then Aunty talked and showed us all the different musical instruments and what they were used for like.
1:Putatara: This was used for calling the fish so when you go fishing you call the fish and you should get some fish but you have to know how to use it propalay.
2:Purerehua:This one was for calling the birds so you can listen to them sing.
3:Putorino:This one was for all the different sounds and when I say different sounds there are three sounds and three parts the Female the male and the baby and they all make different sounds.
4:Pukaea:This one is used for a warning like when someone unwanted is coming someone will blow the Pukaea and everyone will get ready if they need to fight.
5:Porotiti:This one is used for calming and breathing so if you get stressed out you can play it.
6:Hue:Last but not least Hue!!! Hue is used for meetings well the magical ones are. So when you are talking it caches all of the discussion so when you need to remember you can open it up and liston.
After all of that listening we did some more listening and what I mean by that is Aunty put some sounds that are those instruments and we had to guess which one was which and me and my buddy which was Molly we got all 6 right which was awesome. Then we made our own Purerehua and it was so fun we got to design it ourselves and we had to make them with care and Aunty said that when we start we start with care. sadly after that we had to go back to school but a big thanks to the Museum!! For all of that FUN!!
