My heros learning

This is our heroes engine work. I had to make my own hero engine out of a can by making holes with a nail and tying string to the can tag. I filled the can up with water and then had to count how many times the can spun around until all the water was going. It was so fun. My little brother and sister had fun doing it with me too.

  1. Hi Iyve,
What a terrific job you have done, I'm very impressed with the writing up of your observations, you must have learnt lots about creating a water propelled engine. Well done.

  2. This is really great indepth thinking Iyve! A lot of work has gone into your project. Neat that your family joined in. I really liked the way you described the water and can going in different directions creating the spin. Can you think of different machines these engines are used in?

  3. Great thinking about how the engine works Iyve! I think you have explained it well, there is certainly water pressure and gravity at play here!

  4. You worked really hard on this project Iyve! And you showed a lot of patience with Annie and Mac who loved getting involved! It was so nice watching you showing them how to do it so they could both join in!
