Arty time with Miss Moat

Our class has been doing some Arty stuff with Miss Moat and we got to do this amazing art with her.

As you can see I decided to do a piece sine with this nature and one rule was you can not pick things of trees or plants.   Which was quite challenging because there were so many pretty leaves and flowers that I loved.  About Andygoldsworth he was very good at art.  One of the things that I like about his art is that he uses nature for art and I love that.  I reckon that nature makes art more beautiful.

Something that I learned was that people have been making art with nature for a long time now.  One thing that I really enjoyed was being able to do it with nature rather than with pants for something different.  I am still wondering if we can do it again because I enjoyed myself. I hope you all are enjoying your holidays.

CAMP CONCERT
On Wednesday 19th of February, Makaraka School went to Whangara for the Year 5 and 6 leadership camp and all of the other student’s stayed at School. So they all thought they were  really lucky that they got to go.

The drive took about 40 minutes but the students thought it was fun. On the way they stopped and they got to go and do some stingray feeding.  They also did eeling, the fun game’s, the amazing race and the camp concert.
Some people thought that the best part was the camp concert. all of the act’s were really funny. My personal favorite would be Amber f’s  group. At the start Mr Milne called up Eilidh and the enormous Elephant and that's the start.

Amber and Eilidh were waiting on stage then the boy’s ran on, they were in dresses when they ran on the barbie girl music came on.

After a while of that the girl’s did some bad makeup on them and when they sore it the boy’s were not happy with it so one of them fainted and the other one ran off.

After that the boy’s came back on and did a bale and heap’s of people did a clap and it was funny.

In the event the students were nervous but they  had fun it was so funny as well it was the best camp ever. They will always remember it.
